Day 01

CALAMA
/ SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / VALLE
DE LA LUNA
Reception and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama
from Calama airport or bus terminal.
15:00 departure from hotel
to Moon Valley. On the San Pedro-Calama
road we make a short photograph stop at
the look-out point in the Salt Cord. From
there, we will continue to the Moon Valley
where we will visit the salt statues `The
Three Marías`, salt mine, salt caverns
and watch the sunset from the Great Sand
Dune. Return to hotel..Accommodation.

Day 02 |
LAGUNAS
ALTIPLÁNICAS

SALAR DE ATACAMA
08.00 departure from hotel. Visit to the
town of Toconao with its typical local handicrafts
(made from llama and alpaca wool, cactus
wood and volcanic stone) and Bell Tower
of Saint Lucas (National Monument and symbol
of the town). From there we will continue
our journey to the Atacama Salt flats where
we will visit the Chaxa Lagoon, one of the
sectors of the National Reserve of Flamingos.
We then proceed towards the high plateau
where we visit the Lagoons Miscanti and
Miñiques, located at 4 150 metres
above sea level. A short stop en route to
the village of Socaire (3 200m) for lunch
and to photograph the Church of Saint Bartolomé.

Day 03 |
TOUR ARQUEOLÓGICO
Breakfast
in hotel. 09.00 departure to visit the Pukará
(fortress) of Quitor, Salt Cord and Inca
ruins of Catarpe. Visit to the ruins of
Tulor, which date back to over 2 800 years.
Return to San Pedro via the áyllu`
of Sequitor. 13.00 arrival at hotel.

Day 04 |
GEYSERS
Y PUEBLOS
/ AIRPORT
04.00 departure from hotel. 07.00
arrival at the geysers of El Tatio (4 320m).
Breakfast and walk around the various geysers
where you will have the opportunity to bathe
in the naturally heated swimming pool. We
then continue to the ancient village and
church of Caspana, the Pukará (fortress)
of Lasana, the petroglifs in the Valley
of the River Loa, the Inca Coya Lagoon and
the Church and village of Chiu-Chiu. Approx
time of arrival in Calama: 16.30. aprox.
Transfer to Calama airport or terminal.
Recommendations: Take both
warm and light clothing, sun protection
and sunglasses. Full-day tours include breakfast,
packed lunch, fruit and soft drinks.
